I've closed more than 150 small business deals. Running the numbers, valuing the business, walking owners and buyers through the process, and getting each one over the line. You develop a feel for it: which businesses are quietly excellent, which ones only look that way on paper, and which deals are going to fall apart in week six.
Somewhere in there I decided I'd rather own one than advise on the next hundred.
Global Point Ventures is how I do that. It's a holding company, not a fund — no outside mandate, no clock running, no one to answer to but the people I do business with. I also came up through digital marketing and financial advisory work, which shapes what I look for: businesses where sharper operations and a real online presence move the numbers more than financial engineering ever could.
